Psalm 119

Wanted to set on the deck so badly this morning....but hurting so badly. Ahhh... Lying on the cushioned deck swing with extra pillows.
Listening to audio Bible....my favorite Psalm 119, coffee in hand, Susie forever snuggled close, my beautiful birds brightening my day.
God is forever good! Forever my strength!

Psalm 119

Thy Word is true from Th Beginning!

My heart standeth in awe of The Word!

I rejoice at The Word!

Thy Law do I love!

Great peace have they which love Thy Law!

Seven times a day do I praise Thee because of Thy righteous judgements!

Deck Time

Awoke at six a.m. To the wonderful aroma of brewing coffee and To the sound of BBN"s faithful wake up song..."To God Be the Glory!"
Sit on the deck listening to my audio Bible as I watched the birds.
Listened to Jon Abram's family singing on my IPad
Listened to The Louvin Brothers....missing Dad! Hearing Dad singing in his beautiful high tenor....
Listened to Roy Acuff sing a few of his old songs....Mama's favorites..."The Old Speckled Bird..."
pushed back in time...hearing Mama singing in her sweet voice as she ironed away on the old wooden ironing board.
Memories relived....memories being made...
God is good..
Life is good....

Jon Abram..........the Pilot

Jon Abram is getting very close to fulfilling a life long dream...........getting his pilot license. He had the wonderful privilege of going with his boss to a Fly In in Idaho over the weekend.  He kept me updated with pictures. Pretty exciting to fly along with him..

This is the plane he hopes to use to get his flying hours in.

Studying hard for the written exam...

Enjoying the flight with his boss..

10,000 feet............such beauty!

Jon Abram doing the flying over the beautiful Columbia River.

Mama following his flight on her Ipad..........and praying for their safety!!
So proud of him!!

Happy Birthday to Our Amy Joy

The scripture we claimed for her:

For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of Him.

Therefore also I have lent him/her to the Lord as long as he/she liveth he/she shall be lent to the Lord!

A Helping Hand..

Erica spent the night and we have been busy. She has taken down my light fixture globes for me to wash and then she put them back up. She has also taken down blinds and curtains.

Whew!! What a job.  My shoulders want let me do this kind of thing anymore. But TOGETHER we are "getting her done!!"

I'm going to put some credit on her Amazon account this evening for some things she would like to have. It's a "win win" situation for us both!!

Guess who REALLY helped?

Gardenias...

I have a special friend who is an "encourager."

A few days she emailed me this picture of her gardenia......  I had to chuckle at a memory it evoked!

Many years ago, when we lived in Florida near Mom and Dad Delamarter......we were celebrating Mother's Day.  Dad had a green thumb and his yard was filled with beautiful flowers. Dad was also a lover of beauty. That Mother's Day he decided to make corsages for all the gals.  They were gorgeous.

We all made our way to church and sat on the same row, of course(it was Mother's Day)!  We suddenly realized that we had the attention of all on the surrounding pews.........  Yes!!! Our corsages were made with gardenias!!!  Beautiful and quite fragrant!

We were soooooooo embarrassed!  But we have had many good laughs over that down through the years!!

Great is Thy Faithfulness!!!

Beautiful Saturday morning!!! As soon as I'm able to sit, I'll move to my deck.

I went to bed last night with such a heavy heart. Really hurting over a situation. I even found myself awakening during the night, having to plead the blood over my mind.

I awoke early in His Presence. With His prompting, I turned my Ipad on and listened to a certain section of the scriptures. I knew what I needed. I knew what He had promised. As His precious Word spoke to my heart, I said, "Yes,Lord! Yes!!" He talked to me. I listened. I talked to Him. He so tenderly listened and responded!!

My heart felt the healing balm of Gilead!!  How I love His Word!  He/It always meets my needs!!

Thank you, Lord!! Great is thy faithfulness!!

Cam's Blueberry Pie

Cam worked so very hard helping Nanny and Aunt Joanne take down the blueberry cage.  He wanted to make a blueberry pie so badly. So He and Nanny found a super easy one online, video and all. Yes!! WE can  do this.
We made memories. We laughed a lot. He learned how to flute a pie... Yes, it was premade pie crusts, but that didn't diminish our fun at all.  Nanny just knew her limitations.

Amy's family came today. I got up and grilled early before they came because it was so terribly humid and thunder storms were predicted.
JB helped Nanny fertilize her flowers.

Cam mowed........

Amy and Joey cleaned the gutters....

 Jon supervised......
JB had to use his leaf blower........

And then...........watch Curious George and munch on animal cookies....
Nanny's medical secretary payed hospital bills.....
Wonderful beautiful family!!
